The minister of Defence in Korea, Prof Victor Cha in U.S(김태영 국방부장관, 빅터 차 조지타운 교수(미국 국가안보CSIS실장)

 

He was the Minister of Defence in Korea(김태영). Luckily I took a picture with him. He told me 'You would be a big man to work for Korea.' I felt glorious. I participated in a CSIS Annual Forum today. I came to Hyatt hotel by invitation. The subject was Korea and U.S: Regional and Global opportunities. As you know, in 2010 our patral voat was sank by N.K submarine's attack and after just six month, they shelled our island leading to total 48people killed. Unfortunately the minister '김태영' was removed as the Minister of Defence at that time.

One of the reasons I came here is to meet and say hello to this professor, Victor Cha. Finally I met him and introduce myself because I would like to study at Geogetown University in U.S for Ph.d after graduation from Korea University. I told him that I want to study under his control at his Univ. So he was smile and offered words of encouragement. I was honored as he's equipped with expertise in teaching students. He was well recognized by late U.S president Geoge Bush.
